    Period and incontinence underwear are a reusable product designed to absorb your menstrual flow and prevent leaks, keeping you dry and comfortable. They provide a sustainable alternative to disposable products. VOXAPOD period underwear are designed in a range of absorbencies, from light to heavy, to support you through every stage of your flow.

    What material are the hip hugger period underwear made out of?

    Skin Layer and Outer Layer: 95% bamboo, 5% spandex.
    Patented gusset:
    2nd Layer (Liquid storage) - 80% polyester + 20% nylon (microfiber)
    3rd Layer (Leak-proof) - TPU 100% polyester.

    How much can these period underwear absorb?

    They will absorb 30 mls of fluid or about 3 regular tampons worth.

    How many pairs of period underwear do I need?

    This depends on how heavy your flow is and how frequently you do laundry. Most prefer to have 1-2 pairs for each day of the cycle.

    How long can I wear period underwear?

    They may be worn for up to 24 hours, depending on the absorbency levels and your flow. Generally, it is recommended to change your period underwear every 10-12 hours to avoid odor or leakage. Of course, you can change them more frequently if desired. Depending on care and frequency of use, one pair can last up to 2-5 years.

    How do I wash and care for period underwear?

    You can wash these undies like your others, in cold water or by hand. Some prefer to hand rinse in cold water after use and before washing. Lay flat or hang to dry. Keep it simple – do not tumble dry, bleach, use fabric softner, dry clean, or iron.

    How do I choose my period underwear size?

    Use the size guide on this product page and be sure to measure at the widest part of your lower hips for the best fit.

    Can I wear period underwear for incontinence or as backup with a pad, tampon, menstrual cup or disc?

    Thankful to finally find hip-hugger period underwear! These are much more comfortable than the other styles. I use these with the cup or on lighter days. I'm allergic to disposable pantyliners and I'm tired of using cloth liners which don't stay in place.

    Good as a back up for heavy flow

    I have a really heavy flow, to the point that sometimes I change my cup every 3 hours. I love pairing these with my cup, it gives me extra piece of mind. It's also great at the end of my period, or on lighter days. Then I'll just use these.

    Sometimes I'm tired of sticking a tampon up there but a liner just won't do, and I don't want to wear a pad. These are perfect for those days!! Feels as comfortable as normal underwear and no odor AT ALL. Great purchase
